be green. and choose tea :)

So within the past couple of days I've decided to try overhauling my drink choice - going from coffee to tea.

It's not like some sort of hipster transformation or anything. I still LOVE coffee and miss it dearly. However I started noticing some symptoms that were less than friendly to my body:

-restlessness
-stress (and then depression when I got off the caffeine high)
-unexplained ache-y-ness
-stomachaches
-shakiness

While I felt like I wasn't myself for the last few weeks due to the extra stress of job searching and getting used to EST (after coming home from Israel), I think my body was getting overwhelmed with the two or more cups of coffee a day.

I think my body was telling me to lay off the high amounts of caffeine and just kick it with the green/black teas for a bit. AND I found out that green tea is awesome:
