New Beginings...

I have been thinking and praying about starting a blog for almost a year now. Wow, that sounds really cheesy. I didn’t even notice until I typed it out and, whoa, sounds very unlike me. I really hope this isn’t reflective of the sort of blog this will be…sigh…

Actually, I’ve started a few other blogs in the past. Most of the time, I deleted them within a year or so because they weren’t very active. I’m sure that’s because they weren’t very interesting. You know it’s a lemon when the author gets bored. Anyway, that being said, I hope this newest project will be a little more interesting, even if it’s just me talking to myself. (Oh wait! I already do that!)

First off, I’d like to get the record straight about my writing abilities. (*laughs*) First of all, I tend to be thorough. If I think it, I write it. That’s good for writing a paper with a word minimum, not so great for a blog post. Hopefully you can decipher what I’m trying to say even when I’m saying things like, “true as the fact that baby Koala’s ride on their mama’s backs.” (Thanks, Karryn) :-)

Secondly (And I think you should really know this) I like parenthesis. Period.

Thirdly, despite my poor attempts at writing and humor (not necessarily in that order). I want to express the fact that I am doing this as a way to think/type about some of the things I have experienced or have yet to experience. The Lord has really done an amazing work in my life. I owe Him all the glory in the praise department. I hope you start to see that God deserves every minute of every day from us. In fact, it is a requirement. So, perhaps in my twinky, small way, I can give Him all the glory----including on the internet.
